i.TV for Web now in public beta

Justin

We are pleased to announce that i.TV for Web is now in public beta. Now, keep in mind this is an early version of the site and there are still some features and performance improvements yet to be rolled out. Once you’ve had a chance to try the i.TV website beta out, please give us feedback.

i.TV for Web Features

  • Homepage – Trending shows, recent user activity, top entertainment news, search, login.
  • Shows – New Shows, Most Favorited, New Tonight, Staff Picks, Emmys, Oscars, You Gotta Be Kidding
  • Favorites – (Login required) When you add a show to your favorites, the show appears in this list.
  • Guide – Time-based, TV listings grid
  • Show Details – To access a showcard, click on any show image or show title and you’ll be taken to a page like this. This is where you can find out more about the show via Wikipedia and IMDb, read entertainment news, check in, and add or remove the show from your favorites. We are also introducing a new feature called “Recent Activity” where you can comment on the show and see the check-ins, favorites and comments of other i.TV users.
  • Login with the same credentials you use on i.TV for iOS to synchronize favorites across the web and mobile apps.
  • Please be aware that our site takes advantage of the latest HTML5 browser technologies and therefore requries a modern browser to be viewed successfully. These browsers include: Internet Explorer 9+, Firefox 3.6+, Chrome 12+, Safari 5+.
